We provide everything you need — life jackets, paddles and transportation to and from the river.

The Boathouse Tavern on the Muskingum River

Overlooking the Muskingum River, The Boathouse Tavern pairs a riverside seat with the Canoe Livery next door — canoe, kayak, and tubing rentals for a day on the water, then a cold drink on the patio when you get off it.

Tiki Bar & Patio

The restaurant is closed for remodeling — the bar is open. Come off the water and up to the Tiki Bar and patio area, open during livery hours, 9AM–3PM.

A short drive from central and northeast Ohio

Coshocton sits where the Walhonding and Tuscarawas Rivers meet to form the Muskingum, at the crossing of US-36 and State Route 16 — close enough to the interstates for a day trip, far enough out that the river stays quiet.

Off the highway

About 25 minutes west of I-77 at Newcomerstown on US-36, and about 40 minutes north of I-70 at Zanesville on SR-60 and SR-16. Free on-site parking at the livery, and the shuttle brings you right back to your car.
